Everybody knows of John; but, I literally posted to Instagram asking folks to identify the second surfer who I got the better shots of that morning. Turns out that Ivan joined in. I’d never actually met Ivan, with short hair and decorated stickers, it took some friends all of 3 minutes identify him. It was a fun morning to be in the water. With Clif Bar and Vans stickers — it didn’t take long to solve this Clif hanger. About half an hour later the waves started to fade and the winds kicked up; their timing was cherry.
