Personal Branding Photography

Recently, I had the opportunity to take headshots for Angela of Angel Tactical Bookkeepers. Her branding is light, airy, coastal with emphasis on approachability and down to earth imagery. We aimed to produce a mixture of looks for different branding purposes and transferability of the imagery for when clients are outside of Hawaii. Being on Oahu, business headshots are often more casual and relatable than the standard stiff, black backdrop accustomed as the way to take a headshot. Headshots are so vital to the first impression — especially for LinkedIn, Business cards, websites, and emails. The way to brand yourself is often how you are perceived online. It’s important to talk about mood, feeling, lighting, locations, and what you hope to accomplish through the imagery so that you can lead with your best foot forward.
